
Get ready for a fantastic summer of live music in the heart of Boston. Centenary Methodist Church is proud to present its Summer Season of Music 2026, starting 3rd June 2026, bringing a wide variety of talented performers to Red Lion Street every Wednesday evening from June through August.
Running from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, these relaxed and welcoming concerts offer something for everyone - from brass bands and choirs to soloists and contemporary performances. Best of all, entry is free, with donations welcome to support the ongoing work of the church in the local community.
Whether you’re a fan of classical music, choral performances, or something a little more upbeat, this summer series promises an enjoyable evening out in Boston each week.

Boston Sinfonia, recognised as Lincolnshire’s foremost symphony orchestra, founded in 1996, giving orchestral concerts in and around Boston. The orchestra has now gained an outstanding reputation for performances of fine classical music and has become very popular with audiences.

You might find that you are familiar with much of the music in this concert, which starts and finishes with high spirited works by Dvořák. Mozart’s delightful Concerto for Flute and Harp features flautist Gill Walsh alongside harpist Thea Butterworth. The programme also includes Mahler’s Symphonic Poem Totenfeier.

The Boston Orchestra was founded in 1937 to bring together local talented musicians and provide them with the opportunity to enjoy the experience of playing in an orchestra. We meet weekly for rehearsals and present 2 concerts a year in and around Boston, often in local village churches in order to take live music out into the rural community.
Their Spring Concert of 2026 was held on Sunday 29th March at Kirton Town Hall, with music from Dvořák, Vaughan Williams, Fauré, as well as music from The Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins.
